Zingy Tomato Crunch with Mashed Avocado

This is a pretty easy lunch, snack or breakfast side that can be varied in so many ways.

All you need to do is;

  1. Grab two slices of bread and put them in the toaster.
  2. As the toast is browning, mash 1/4 avocado (ripe and in season is best) and pinch of sea salt in a cup with a fork. If you have lime or lemon on hand, a dash of that wouldn’t hurt but you don’t actually need it most of the time.
  3. Spread the mash over the hot toast and top with a teaspoon of Latasha’s sweet, delicious and moreish Zingy Tomato Chutney and fresh basil.


That’s it! I’m off to make a second serve.

Hot tip: You can also add any chilli sauce to make it hotter. I think it’s the perfect zing as it is though.
