Latasha’s MANGO LASSI

This popular drink has always been a hit with our customers at our Leederville cafe. You can use avocados or bananas instead of mangoes and achieve excellent results.

Ingredients
1 ripe fresh mango or a couple of frozen mango cheeks
2-3 cups crushed ice
½ cup ice water
350 ml full fat natural yoghurt
300 ml chilled full cream milk
3 tsp cardamom powder
Caster sugar to taste
150 ml mango pulp
25 ml extra mango pulp to line the base of each serving glass


Method

In a blender, bring together all the ingredients and crush to a smooth puree. Line the base of a serving glass with mango pulp and pour in the lassi.
