Homestyle Oysters & Spinach in Coconut Broth

Latasha’s Kitchen Homestyle Curry Paste is an authentic old family recipe so deliciously moreish. This versatile paste makes awesome meat curries as well as omelette, vegetarian or tofu and tempeh curries.


  1. Heat 4 teaspoons of Latasha’s Kitchen Homestyle Curry Paste and the same amount of water in some oil for 5 minutes on low heat.
  2. Add 200 ml Ayam coconut cream and some water. Then add some grilled baby bell peppers, a small bag of baby spinach leaves and some fresh grilled pineapple pieces and finally 2 dozen freshly shucked oysters and their brine juice.
  3. Don’t overcook the oysters – just poach quickly.
  4. Enjoy immediately with steamed rice.
